06 Dec Successful Cruise Season for Poole
Poole has enjoyed it’s second successful cruise season and next year is set to be even busier!
In fact, 2020 will be a recorded breaking year at the Port of Poole with 5 inaugural cruise calls scheduled from Phoenix Reisen, Saga and Ponant. All of whom will be calling at the port for the first time.
Jim Stewart, Chief Executive of Poole Harbour Commissioners said “With a steadily increasing number of ships choosing to visit, we are delighted to see Poole Harbour growing in popularity as a cruise destination. 2020 will once again be a year of growth and we look forward to giving a very warm welcome to all of our callers, old and new.”
He went on to add “Going forward, we have ambitious plans to triple the number of cruise ships docking in Poole and are already receiving bookings from cruise companies for 2022.”
Improved facilities and the launch of the ‘Cruise Poole’ welcome team will also be rolled out in time for the new cruise season.
