Here at Poole Harbour Commissioners, we provide a RORO ferry service for both passengers and freight.
Passenger Ferries
We have ferries departing daily from Poole to Cherbourg in France courtesy of Brittany Ferries as well as Channel Island ferries courtesy of Condor Ferries. Passengers will be free to relax in our terminal where they’ll discover a café and restaurant, toilet facilities and a nursing mother’s room. There’s also a Bureau de Change and luggage trolleys available.
Freight Ferries
If you’re looking to transport large freight vehicles to and from the UK, our ferry service departs daily to and from Cherbourg in France. The service is provided by Brittany Ferries and covers all conventional cargo. We have onsite tractor units as well as a large, fully-automated weighbridge for all imports and exports. Crossing time for the ferry is 4 hours and 15 minutes, and you can find out the schedule by getting in touch.
