Poole Harbour is one of the best spots on the South Coats for Kite Surfing. Surfers can take advantage of several areas in and around Poole Harbour such as Whitely Lake, Hamworthy Park, Bramble Bush Bay Studland and all beaches outside the harbour in suitable conditions.
Surfers will need a permit in order to use the harbour, these can be easily purchased online or obtained from the harbour office.
Kite surfing is not permitted in the harbour entrance or any of the main shipping channels. Please follow the Code of Practice for Kite Surfers to ensure you enjoy your time at the Poole harbour.
