PHC welcome aboard new Harbour Master Harry Gregory

PHC welcome aboard new Harbour Master Harry Gregory

We are delighted that Harry Gregory started his role with PHC as Harbour Master on the 1st September.

Harry’s maritime career started aged 16 with his qualification as a sailing instructor in Poole where his parents remain today. He also taught kitesurfing internationally, raced dinghies and achieved yacht master qualifications in his spare time whilst at school, studying Civil Engineering and later working in consulting roles at organisations including the Ministry of Defence, Royal Navy, G4S and Deutsche Bank. In these positions, he worked with senior leaders to create and implement strategies to meet new challenges. Harry’s career then changed tack back to maritime with 2 years as Deputy Harbour Master for Littlehampton followed by 3 years as Harbour Master; a post which included the responsibilities of Chief Executive, Pilot and Harbour Engineer. In parallel, Harry has served 3 years in the Army Reserve and 6 years with the RNLI.

Harry has really enjoyed his first few days at PHC and is currently getting to know our fantastic team and varied operations. He is looking forward to getting out and about to meet our many Stakeholders in the coming weeks.
