25 Feb PHC Announce Virtual Annual Meeting
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Poole Harbour Commissioners (PHC) will be taking their Annual Open Evening, normally held at the Port of Poole, online this year.
To ensure the safety of their valued stakeholders and of the PHC team, this year’s event will be hosted live, via zoom on Tuesday 23rd March 2021. Stakeholders are invited to register for the event here: Sign up for the PHC Virtual Annual Meeting here and a link to join the virtual meet will be sent out the week prior.
Jim Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, Poole Harbour Commissioners said:
“As a Trust Port, PHC understands the value and importance of our Annual Stakeholder meeting. As such we are adapting to new ways of engaging with our stakeholders to ensure their safety, and of course to follow Government guidelines.”
During the meeting, Jim Stewart, CEO and the rest of the PHC team will give a review of the year, discussing key topics including the impact on the port of COVID and Brexit. The meeting will end with a Q&A session, where PHC’s Leadership Team will address as many questions and comments as possible.
Jim continued:
“It’s disappointing not to be able to meet with our stakeholders in person once again this year, but like many other businesses and organisations we’re having to adapt, and we look forward to delivering our first virtual event! Our annual meeting gives us the opportunity to link up with our local community, and we are keen to continue this engagement.”
Poole Harbour Commissioners value input from our diverse range of stakeholders. Members of the public are invited to pre-submit any questions or comments ahead of the event by emailing: pooleharbourcommissioners@phc.co.uk. The deadline for submitting questions is 16th March 2021. There will also be the opportunity to submit a question when you register for the event online.
