Golden Horizon, the world’s largest square-rigged sailing vessel, has been forced to delay a ‘dress rehearsal’ voyage around the south coast of England.
The announcement came following Boris Johnson’s decision to delay the lifting of legal restrictions on social contact for a further four weeks.
Golden Horizon, a steel-hulled, five-mast cruise ship, was due to arrive in Poole this Sunday (27th June), but the trip has been cancelled over Covid fears.
Tradewind Voyages have been working hard to redesign their UK season, and Golden Horizon will now visit Poole for the first time on Tuesday 6th July, with a further two further visits scheduled for Monday 12th and Thursday 29th July.
