Captain Brian Murphy, Harbour Master, Poole Harbour Commissioners said: “Poole Harbour Commissioners strongly urges the recreational boating community that may wish to get on the water to follow the Government instruction to “Stay at home – essential travel only”. If you go on to the water and end up in difficulty, your 999 call to the coastguard will be putting frontline emergency responders at risk and under additional pressure. Please stay at home”.
