PHC Welcome Visitors Back to Award Winning Marinas

PHC Welcome Visitors Back to Award Winning Marinas

Following the latest guidance from the UK Government, we have begun to welcome the first visitors back to our award-winning marinas.

Owned and operated by Poole Harbour Commissioners, Poole Quay Boat Haven and the Port of Poole Marina started their phased reopening for annual berth holders in May. The latest announcement has now enabled us to extend this opening and allow overnight stays for both berth holders and visitors.

Marina Manager, Kerrie Gray said “We’re thrilled to be welcoming visitors for overnight stays. During our phased reopening additional measures were put in place to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19. The success of these measures, along with the new guidance means we are confident to be welcoming visitors back to our marinas.”

“In the interest of safety and wellbeing, we have taken the decision to continue with our phased approach and not to return to full capacity straight away. We will initially start at 50% occupancy and will gradually increase this number until we find our maximum safe working number”.

The health and welfare of our customers and workforce continue to be a top priority for PHC. And, additional measures have again been implemented in preparation for this next stage of opening.

Floor markings, posters, and hand sanitising stations are in place and we urge all visitors to maintain a 2m social distance wherever possible. Protective screens have been installed, but to limit numbers in the reception area we request that wherever possible payment is made prior to arrival.

Please book ahead to avoid disappointment and help us plan for your arrival.
