27 Apr Port of Poole welcomes MS Deutschland to kick off 2022 Cruise season

The Port of Poole’s 2022 cruise season is officially underway. The MS Deutschland. a 520-guest vessel, operated by German-based company Phoenix Reisen, became the first passenger ship to visit this year on Tuesday 26th of April.
Captain Brian Murphy, Marine and Port Director at Poole Harbour Commissioners, said: “We’re very excited to welcome the MS Deutschland to the Port of Poole to kick off our cruise season. To see our 200m cruise berth being occupied by this beautiful vessel, set among the stunning views of Poole Harbour, is a fantastic sight”.
To mark the occasion, Captain Hubert Flohr, master of the 175m vessel, was presented with a Port of Poole plaque by Captain Brian Murphy.
