17 Jun THE PORT OF POOLE HOSTS SUCCESSFUL AERIAL FIREFIGHTING TRIALS

The Port of Poole was proud to serve as the location for the first successful trials of the Jupiter Bambi Bucket last week. The trials involved the Airbus H145 helicopter, designated as the Jupiter HC Mk2 in UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) service, and focused on demonstrating its aerial firefighting capabilities.
Operated by the UK MoD, the Jupiter HC Mk2 is equipped with advanced firefighting technology and plays a crucial role in supporting emergency response operations.
The success of the trials reflects the close collaboration between aviation crews, port personnel, and emergency services, showcasing the Port of Poole’s role in enabling innovative and mission-critical testing.
