20 Apr MS HAMBURG OPENS POOLE 2026 CRUISE SEASON

The Port of Poole welcomed cruise ship MS Hamburg yesterday, operated by Plantours Kreuzfahrten, marking the opening cruise call of the 2026 season to Poole Harbour.
The 144metre cruise ship visited Poole, alongside other UK and Ireland destinations including Liverpool and London, as part of a voyage around the British Isles. Guests made the most of our beautiful area with tours of Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens, Swanage Railway steam train and a hike along the Jurassic Coast, amongst others.
The call is the first of a series of cruise visits to Poole Harbour in 2026, reflecting our continued growth within the luxury and expedition cruise sector.
Further highlights this season include a call from Seabourn Cruises in June, alongside inaugural calls from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises on 6 May 2026 and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours on 27 July 2026.
In addition, Noble Caledonia has selected Poole as both the start and end port for two wildlife- and bird-watching-focused itineraries operating between Poole and Oban in Scotland.
We look forward to welcoming cruise guests to Poole throughout the 2026 season and showcasing the very best of the destination.
