10 Jul BRITTANY FERRIES ANNOUNCE EXTENDED 2026 TIMETABLE INCLUDING WINTER SAILINGS FROM POOLE
Brittany Ferries have today launched their sailing schedule for 2026, confirming the continuation of its Poole to Cherbourg route with a new winter service running from November to March. This development enhances year-round connectivity between Dorset and northern France, building on strong seasonal demand and customer feedback.
The Poole–Cherbourg route remains Brittany Ferries’ shortest and fastest crossing to the continent. The addition of winter sailings offers greater flexibility for both leisure and commercial passengers travelling outside the traditional holiday period.
The updated timetable also includes more pet-friendly cabins across the fleet, reflecting continued growth in demand for this type of travel.
Poole Harbour Commissioners welcomes the investment in expanded services and the continued role of the Port of Poole in supporting cross-Channel connectivity for the region.
