  • deepening existing quays for existing and future customers develop the Chevron / Texaco site to provide facilities for new port customers
  • develop RoRo 1 Berth to accommodate new port customers including, potentially, the Dorset Wind Farm operators and small container vessels.
  • re-organise the current port layout to accommodate new commercial activities
  • re-pile Town Quay
  • develop a new Marine Centre which would provide facilities for both local and regional boat owners
  • construct cruise ship facilities
  • create a Poole Harbour Education Centre
  • develop a Poole Harbour Awareness Programme
  • provide lift out facilities for local businesses and boat owners
  • boost Poole Tourism by providing facilities for marine events such as major sailing regatas and races, and Tall Ships visits
  • create new benefits for the people of Poole including new walkways, a new beach and other facilities for local residents and harbour users
  • create a new marine business park
