Poole Harbour Commissioner’s Masterplan sets out the strategy and proposals for the future development of the Port over the next 20 years.
The document was first published in 2013 and was updated in February 2024. It is a living document and will be regularly kept up to date to reflect any changes in the external environment.

ABOUT POOLE HARBOUR
Poole Harbour is the largest natural harbour in Europe, providing a diverse variety of habitats which form a complex natural environment which is home to a wide range of animal and plant species, many of which are of international importance.
This valuable natural resource has to be balanced with careful management of the commercial, fishing and leisure activities that are crucial to the livelihoods of many local residents and the wider regional economy.
