The Commissioners are committed to continually improving their environmental performance through ongoing adoption of best practice and working together with their staff and stakeholders to ensure that all their activities and services are delivered in an environmentally sustainable and sensitive manner.

• the Commissioners will be undertaking a Moorings Policy Review that will include identifying ways to relocate moorings away from the more sensitive parts of the harbour; the eel grass beds for example
• installation of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas Tank (LPG) and purchase of new LPG run plant
• investigating the feasibility for the Commissioners to run a Cycle to Work Scheme
• work with the Poole Harbour Steering Group on the delivery of the targets held within the Poole Harbour Aquatic Management Plan.
